Kai mulls over what needs to be done at the cafe he's started to frequent. Matsukawa's vanity and temper might be his downfall but he needs to be careful. He doesn't want to endanger the rest of the family who seem to be cowering under his thumb. Already, he's working on his connections to ensure safehouses for the grandmother, the mother, and the children.

The youngest Matsukawa, though, he seems...well, Kai doesn't let himself dwell too much on it.
